Responsibilities
- Preparation of Construction Schedule for AKU’s management incorporating analysis of data and information about projects, through performa and final budget working.
- Preparing and updating budgets of individual projects and tracking the issuance of construction Budget Variance Reports (BVRs).
- Issuance of hard currency analysis/requirement document for all projects including Utilities Master Plan (UMP).
- Consolidation of 5 years and 15 years project plans with users, design and project team and provide support to AKU’s management in this regard.
- Construction of PM/CM cost allocation model; it’s review and processing.
- Preparing and developing cost estimates of approved projects.
- Preparing and reviewing AKDN reports. Financial close of Projects by providing detail review of user equipment, project financial data and accruals.
- Planning and budgeting UMP II and UMP III and track changes where applicable
- Tracking Power Plant performance and issue monthly BVRs for the same.
- Evaluating, reviewing and recommending evaluation forms, change orders and variation orders for all on-going Utilities Master Plan Projects.
- Reviewing and providing technical comments for cost estimates of Utilities Master Plan Projects.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Engineering, with MBA/ICMA/CA;
- Eight to ten years practical and progressive experience in the area of budgeting, cost planning, project cost estimation, project scheduling, financial monitoring of projects and scheduling.
- Experience in MS Projects and/or Primavera products would be preferred.
- Proficiency in computers especially MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint tools is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
