Job opportunity: Director “Department of Accounting and Auditing”/ Technical Department within one of the big 4 auditing firms to be based in Riyadh, KSA

The Role:

• Conduct research and prepare technical advice to engagement team on accounting and reporting issues on IFRS and SOCPA standards and interpretations.
• Conduct DPP review of the financial statements (phase-wise). For first year cover 25 financial statements of the highest value engagement.
• Issue updates to Audit section on accounting and auditing standards generally accepted in Saudi Arabia.
• Preparation of responses to accounting and reporting queries from the client.
• Develop financial statements templates for all types of entities.

Requirements :

• A qualified Chartered Accountant from UK, South Africa or other professionally well recognized country
• 5 to 6 years audit experience background with one of the big 4 auditing firms
• Excellent technical and applied knowledge of IFRS and other professional standards
• Have good training skills
• Native speaking English are highly preferred because of Excellent English requirement
