On behalf of their prestigious client with Head Office in Islamabad and presence in key commercial centers of the country, Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates are seeking to attract a suitably qualified insurance professional for the position of Deputy Director Insurance to be based in Karachi.

The Deputy Director will be a member of the team responsible for the Insurance Division, and will be required to liaise with a host of internal and external stakeholders, including a team of peers who are collectively assigned the responsibility to implement policy guidelines received from the senior management. The position requires in-depth knowledge of insurance laws and regulations as applicable to life and non-life companies operating in Pakistan as well as globally, and the role of other markets players including agents, intermediaries etc.

Qualification:

The ideal candidate for this position should be an ACMA/ACA/ACCA/MBA/M.Com (in insurance) or should have relevant academic track record with minimum 7 years of experience, and should have worked at a responsible position in the insurance sector. Prior experience of handling regulatory work will be a definite advantage.

The candidate must be comfortable in working in an automated work environment and should have impeccable integrity, positive attitude, superior communication and interpersonal skills.
